Wilmington Health Access for Teens (WHAT) offers comprehensive primary medical care, mental health and prevention services to children, adolescents and young adults ages 6-24.
We specialize in adolescent health and school-based health care with the goal to enhance young people’s accessibility to high-quality care, including prevention and risk-reduction education, in partnership with parents, schools, local service providers, and the greater southeastern North Carolina community.

Walk-ins are available for established medical patients, mental health crisis and urgent behavioral health needs. Appointments are necessary for new medical patients and for established mental health and behavioral health patients.
