Wilmington Health Access for Teens (WHAT) offers comprehensive primary medical care, mental health, nutrition and prevention services to adolescents and young adults ages 11-24.
We specialize in adolescent health and school-based health care with the goal to enhance young people’s accessibility to high-quality care, including prevention and risk-reduction education, in partnership with parents, schools, local service providers, and the greater southeastern North Carolina community.

Walk-ins are available for medical care Mon-Fri, 9-11 am and 2-4 pm. If you are a new medical patient, please note that you will need an appointment. If you would like to see one of our mental health counselors or nutritionist, you will need to have an appointment.
