Andrea Lewis, FNP-C

Andrea Lewis is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She has been in nursing for more than 6 years. She has worked with patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics, but she finds that working with teenagers has been a new, fun, and exciting adventure. To her, it feels very rewarding to be a part of teenagers lives. She is happily married. Andrea is excited to be a part of the New Hanover Wellness Center team!

Jeanne Hovis, MSW, P-LCSW

Jeanne started her career as a School Psychologist.  She worked for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and for a private school for severely disabled children in Washington, D.C. After spending time at home raising her family, Jeanne received a Masters of Social Work, specializing in clinical work, from UNCW. Jeanne believes that working with adolescents at New Hanover High School and Mosley Performance Learning Center is truly rewarding. As an extra perk, Jeanne gets to go home each day to her own amazing adolescents!!

Michelle Cooper, RD

Michelle recieved her B.S. in Public Health Nutrition from UNC Chapel Hill and then went on to complete her M.S. Nutrition at UAB. She has spent 7 years as a Registered Dietician for New Hanover County Schools and has 3 years of clinical experience, She has been a Featured Dietitian on Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong Healthy Eating Segment.  Michelle is also the Head Coach of Girl’s Varsity Tennis Team at NHHS and is a mother of 3 children currently enrolled in New Hanover County Schools.
